Role:  Sales Manager

Location:  London, United Kingdom

About the role:

As Sales Manager, you'll work within OLIVER's commercial team alongside a small group of sales and marketing professionals. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll support outreach to new prospects, contribute to marketing and communications campaigns, and help manage the tools and content that keep the sales function running effectively.

This is a delivery-focused role for someone comfortable moving between strategic campaign work and day-to-day sales activity — someone who takes initiative, stays organised under pressure, and brings clarity to everything they produce.

What you will be doing:

  • Research and deliver outreach to prospective new clients across email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and conferences
  • Support the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns via HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Activate Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plans and tailored one-to-one campaigns for target prospects
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver targeted LinkedIn campaigns
  • Create and update promotional sales materials — online and offline
  • Support the development and delivery of new business pitches and RFPs
  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce customer and contact database
  • Keep the OLIVER website up to date with news, content, and ongoing changes
  • Produce marketing management information reports and contribute to social media campaigns
  • Provide sales administration support to the wider commercial team

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Experience in a sales support, marketing, or business development role within a service or marketing environment
  • Proficiency with Salesforce; experience with HubSpot is a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment without losing accuracy or quality
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience producing sales or marketing materials across online and offline formats
  • CIM qualification or equivalent marketing knowledge is welcome — not required
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools to enhance outreach, content creation, and campaign delivery
  • Experience building personal workflows to improve efficiency and output quality
  • Agentic approach to managing workstreams: comfortable breaking down tasks and finding solutions independently
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply sound judgement before use
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
