Role: Marketing Programme Lead

Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid)

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's in-house studio embedded with a leading electronics brand, as a Marketing Programme Lead, owning the strategic design and delivery of integrated marketing programmes across the EMEA region.

The electronics sector moves fast. Consumer expectations shift quickly, competitive pressure is relentless, and the gap between strategy and execution can define whether a programme lands or falls flat. Based in Munich and working in a hybrid model, you will be the connective tissue between our client's commercial ambitions and the cross-functional teams that bring them to life across multiple markets, channels, and audiences.

THE ROLE

As Marketing Programme Lead for EMEA, you will be accountable for a portfolio of integrated marketing programmes that connect directly to the client's most important business objectives including sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage senior client relationships across multiple markets, and set the standard for programme quality, consistency, and performance across the region.

This is a senior leadership role that balances strategic thinking with strong programme governance. You will bring clarity to complexity, build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, and create the conditions for your team to deliver outstanding work at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the design and delivery of a portfolio of integrated marketing programmes across EMEA, translating client business goals into coherent, long-term marketing strategies — not isolated one-off campaigns.
  • Manage, develop, and inspire a cross-functional team of marketers, setting clear direction, providing regular feedback, and creating meaningful growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the senior studio contact for client stakeholders across EMEA markets, building trusted relationships and ensuring all programmes remain aligned to evolving commercial priorities.
  • Oversee programme governance across the full portfolio — timelines, quality standards, messaging consistency, and brand compliance across all markets.
  • Define and manage KPI and reporting frameworks at programme level; use data, analytics, and performance insights to measure ROI, identify optimisation opportunities, and shape future strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with content, digital, product, and sales teams — both client-side and within the studio — to ensure integrated, coherent programme execution.
  • Manage programme-level budgets including cost estimation, supplier and agency negotiation, purchase order management, and budget reconciliation; drive cost efficiencies without compromising output quality.
  • Source, onboard, and manage agency and freelance partners where required, ensuring quality, pace, and value are consistently maintained.
  • Drive continuous improvement across programme workflows, tools, and team ways of working — identifying smarter processes and embedding them.
  • Represent OLIVER's values and capabilities confidently in senior client forums and regional stakeholder meetings.

WHAT YOU BRING

Programme leadership and strategy

  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-market marketing programmes, ideally across EMEA with full accountability for strategy, delivery, and measurable performance.
  • A strong understanding of the electronics or consumer technology sector, or demonstrable experience in high-volume, fast-paced B2B or B2C marketing environments.
  • Ability to translate broad business objectives into structured, actionable programme plans and to adapt those plans as priorities shift.

People and stakeholder leadership

  • Experience managing and developing cross-functional marketing teams, with an inclusive, clear, and accountable leadership style.
  • Confidence building and sustaining trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across multiple EMEA markets and cultures.
  • Skilled at navigating complex, matrixed organisations connecting teams, aligning priorities, and moving things forward.

Performance and analytics

  • Strong analytical capability: comfortable defining KPIs, interpreting data, and turning insights into clear, commercially grounded recommendations.
  • Experience building programme-level reporting that gives clients and internal stakeholders genuine visibility of performance and ROI.

Budget management

  • Confidence managing programme and workstream-level budgets, including cost estimation, supplier negotiation, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Experience sourcing and negotiating with external agencies, vendors, and freelancers.
  • Ability to identify and flag budget risks proactively, and to report accurately on spend versus forecast.

Communication and language

  • Excellent communication skills structured, clear, and effective across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in German & English (C1) is essential.

Gen AI and agentic thinking

  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to marketing programme management, to improve output quality and team efficiency.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for personal and team use, and training others on their effective and responsible adoption.
  • Agentic approach to complex, multi-market programme challenges: systematic, goal-oriented, and adaptable when conditions change.
  • Strong judgment around when AI enhances versus detracts from brand quality and strategic integrity — with rigorous human oversight applied throughout.
