Role:  Copywriter (Social)

Location:  Saudi Arabia (Remote)

About the role:

This is a role for someone who moves quickly from trend to idea to scroll‑stopping copy without losing nuance or craft. You’ll write across formats - captions, hooks, CTAs, community responses, campaign lines and longer brand narratives - always mindful of platform form, audience behaviour and GCC cultural context. You will do this while honouring client’s tone of voice.

You’ll collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, Social and Production leads to translate ideas into copy that works at scale and in the moment.

Please submit your CV in English and include links to a social portfolio (3–5 platform native examples)

What you will be doing:

  • Write platform‑native copy in Arabic (Saudi‑localized) and English - hooks, captions, CTAs, headlines and longer brand storytelling.
  • Lead transcreation: adapt campaign concepts and messaging across languages without losing intent, tone or cultural resonance.
  • Own editorial quality and tone of voice across all written outputs.
  • Produce reactive and planned content at newsroom pace, moving quickly from trend to concept to post.
  • Work tightly with the social strategist, social media manager and creative director to ensure copy is platform‑native and creator‑friendly.
  • Manage rapid‑turn briefs and content calendars while maintaining brand integrity and community tone.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and drafting; develop and refine bilingual prompting techniques.
  • Edit, optimise and localise AI outputs for brand voice, platform context and Saudi/GCC relevance.
  • Define and enforce quality‑control processes for all AI‑assisted writing.
  • Stay always‑on to GCC cultural trends, platform shifts and audience behaviour; use insight to shape copy.
  • Apply performance data and learnings to iterate copy approaches and improve effectiveness.
  • Contribute to competitive/cultural analysis to identify creative opportunities and differentiation.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, with demonstrable social‑first studio or agency experience in a fast, real‑time content environment.
  • A strong bilingual portfolio (Arabic and English) showing platform‑native social work and measurable impact where possible. Please include 3–5 links to platform examples (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X, Snap, etc.) with a short note on your role and results.
  • Arabic - Must be a Saudi national or deeply localized to Saudi Arabia; native or near‑native written and spoken proficiency with deep understanding of Saudi register, dialect nuance and cultural context.
  • English - Advanced written and spoken proficiency able to maintain brand tone and quality across both languages.
  • Proven ability to work at pace: managing multiple briefs and rapid turnarounds without sacrificing craft or accuracy.
  • Demonstrable transcreation expertise - adapting ideas across languages and markets while preserving intent, tone and cultural resonance.
  • Platform fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X and YouTube Shorts, with an intuitive sense for hooks, formats and length.
  • Strong editorial judgement, impeccable bilingual grammar and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social studio tools and workflows (CMS, scheduling, collaborative creative platforms) and an understanding of GCC regulatory/advertising standards.
