Digital Creative Director
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina - Hybrid (2-3 days per week). Travel may be required.
Position Overview - Digital Creative Director
Join our leading creative agency as the Digital Creative Director. This pivotal role involves steering the design team to deliver high-impact, innovative, and consistent design solutions across global markets. Your leadership will ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain a cohesive brand identity across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Drive the creative vision and strategy for design projects, incorporating the latest trends and technologies. Provide guidance and mentorship to a diverse design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Develop design strategies that align with brand objectives and ensure consistency in creative outputs.
- Design Expertise and Innovation: Lead the development of design templates and guidelines, encouraging experimentation and adoption of new design techniques. Stay updated with industry advancements to integrate innovative design elements into projects.
- Team Management: Collaborate with designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and exceed client expectations. Support professional growth by providing resources and training for team members.
- Project Oversight: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of global design projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines. Manage budgets and resources to optimize design efficiency and output.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction. Deliver tailored design solutions by understanding client goals and brand guidelines.
- Quality and Process Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high standards in all deliverables. Conduct regular reviews to identify improvement areas and optimize workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Extensive experience in senior design leadership within a creative or marketing agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing art direction storytelling and motion design skills. Ensure a range of works across various media types (e.g., digital, print, video) with contemporary design techniques and trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft 365 (especially PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, layout, creative development, and brand strategy.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth understanding of new media and digital marketing trends.
- A desire to explore new technologies and continuously learn. AI tool skills appreciated.
- Proven track record of managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in advanced English for daily briefings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Advanced English – will receive briefings and collaborate on a daily basis in English due to the nature of the client
Location
This position is based in Buenos Aires, with potential travel to regional offices and production sites as needed.
