About the Role:
As the Delivery Lead, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to a dynamic team of senior and junior project managers. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful delivery and quality of projects across multiple domains while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Mentorship: Manage, supervise and mentor a team of project managers, supporting their performance and professional development and fostering a collaborative, AI-first, high-performance culture.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise the delivery quality of projects, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to organizational standards.
- Strategic Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, aligning them with organizational goals and client needs. Optimize project processes and methodologies for better outcomes.
- Hands-On Management: Take a proactive role in handling complex projects and those identified as at risk, intervening hands on and implementing strategies to prevent potential failures and ensure successful outcomes.
- Resource Management: Efficiently supervise resource allocation across projects, optimizing team capacity and capabilities to ensure successful delivery, and manage resources hands on for complex initiatives.
- Client Engagement: Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, maintaining strong relationships and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, working directly with the account managers and leads.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives for process improvements within project management practices, championing the use of our PM tool, OMG, to drive efficiency and quality.
- Operational Reporting: Own and manage operational reporting, ensuring data accuracy and providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Risk Management: Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring that potential project risks are identified, communicated, and addressed proactively.
- Performance Tracking: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project management team, regularly reviewing progress to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 2 years in a management role directing teams of project managers in creative or technical environments.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and mentoring project management teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Project Management Expertise: Deep understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, with experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional bilingual (English-fluent) communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and team members at all organization levels.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing changes and competing priorities effectively.
