ROLE MISSION

As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team, to work on the social media strategy and execution for some Ireland’s biggest brands. We are looking for a Social Media Manager who loves creating content and has a genuine passion for social media.

This opportunity is perfect for a talented, experienced, and organised individual who can translate brand personality into conversations on social media, understands how to best leverage social’s unique strengths, and sees the bigger picture for a brand’s presence on social at a national scale.

You are a versatile person who can easily work across content ideation, social creative and strategy development, content creation & distribution. Knowledge and experience of paid media and influencer marketing is an advantage.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

The Social Media Manager will work on one client account and report to the Senior Account Director. This is a client-facing role, working closely with the client brand teams, local marketing teams and the client’s agency partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Bring a ‘social first’ perspective to the development of integrated campaigns, working alongside the creative team to advise on the right approach for social assets for the brand’s channels.
  • Work in close collaboration with the client brand teams to set out campaign and content plans for all relevant campaigns across platforms.
  • Manage the process from social content ideation to content creation and delivery (owned, earned and paid).
  • Develop and manage a monthly client’s content calendars (owned, earned, and paid).
  • Manage daily community management on client social channels.
  • Help drive best practice and innovation across all social campaigns and content development.
  • Drive dialogue and engagement with the individual brands digital audience.
  • Ensure all content is delivering against the set social strategy, objectives and KPIs.
  • Identify proactive opportunities for engagement and reactive content in channel
  • Create and manage yearly/quarterly social performance reviews and laydown decks for clients.
  • Make regular recommendations based on social best practices, trends and performance, staying up to date with the latest industry innovations and new content styles and trends.
  • Research and identify the right influencers/content creators to work with who align with the clients' brand purpose and add value to their presence on social.
  • Create and manage influencer rate negotiations, content briefs and PR logistics.
  • Ensure influencer content is created to the clients standard and is delivered in a timely manner in line with content calendars and campaign deadlines.
  • Proactively seek new and exciting PR opportunities and trends and advise how clients can get involved where relevant for their brand.
  • Capture and create content that is relevant and engaging on behalf of clients while factoring in current culture, trends, and macro moments in Irish society.
  • Assist the client and Oliver teams with content shoots where relevant and required.
  • Capture and create content at client shoots and events where relevant and required.
  • Be a steward of the clients’ digital personality
  • Support and advise the creative team to ensure social best practices and learnings are implemented and advise on asset relevance for community and channels.
  • Regularly inform the teams (both OLIVER and the clients) with new social formats, trends, ways of creating for content for different social channels.
  • Work closely with the client brand managers, Oliver Account Director, Design Director, and design team to ensure content creation is aligned with the brand guidelines and social channels.

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Proven experience working in-house or agency working on social campaigns for global brands.
  • Be platform native, including content management and scheduling tools.
  • Keen and active interest in digital trends and culture.
  • In-depth understanding of paid social, In-depth understanding of the Irish influencer landscape.
  • A clear knack for all things content, from ideation to creation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and manage client relationships.
  • Proactively spotting new social opportunities to create content/moments for the client brand to help them grow their presence through social.
  • Drive by the data insights and social analytics, constantly testing new opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop the voice of the brand within it

Essential Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience creating and managing content for global brands.
  • Highly creative with ability to bring concept to life through social channels
  • Expert in social media management and platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Social Performance, Paid media, Social Strategy, Influencer Marketing
  • Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable team player
  • Able to balance a strong point of view with an ability to listen, learn and adapt.
  • Energised by doing the right thing for our clients; solution and results focused.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies and must excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy, and execution.
