JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CONTENT MANAGER  

Role: Content Manager  

Job Level: Mid (4-5 years)  

Location: Mumbai/Hybrid

Time Zone Required: BST

Type of contract: Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

Language: Proficiency in English is required as we are a global business 

A Little Bit About the Role:

Be part of a global team to help deliver content to website, email, and push content in multiple languages. Working in Adobe Experience Manager and other relevant platforms to upload and manage content to these platforms, do amendments, work from an excel spreadsheet to find and input/update content and keep track of project status. Provide status reports to your project manager daily and manage your timing on the job. Excellent communication and attention to detail is required to successfully deliver.  

What You'll be Doing:  

  • Collaborate with the content team to deliver various digital assets, including website content and email marketing materials. 
  • Assist in following and implementing best practices in content production processes. 
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and efficient resource management. 
  • Communicate project updates to the Project Manager and contribute to account process adherence. 
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deadlines. 
  • Support in evaluating the quality and impact of projects against objectives. 
  • Foster clear communication and build relationships with client contacts. 
  • Identify and address potential project issues early on. 
  • Assist in managing and mitigating project risks. 
  • Contribute to the development of technical excellence within the team. 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal project outcomes. 
  • Maintain administrative tasks at a high standard. 
  • Accurately track and record time in the company's daily reporting system. 

What You Will Be Doing in Your Role: 

  • Upload content to the client's global CMS system. 
  • Ensure accuracy and proper formatting of copy and assets. 
  • Communicate effectively with the team and escalate issues when needed. 
  • Support in managing the content management process efficiently. 
  • Collaborate with clients to manage publication calendars. 
  • Develop an understanding of the client's brand voice and ethos. 
  • Assist in proofreading content copy. 
  • Adapt to new challenges and contribute to solution development. 

Person Specification: 

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates pride in work.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Jira.
  • Understanding of CMS platforms.
  • Interest in and basic knowledge of SEO.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Back-up power supply, if necessary. 
  • Stable internet connectivity – fibre connection preferable (options can be discussed) in order to connect to remote servers as well as conduct virtual meetings daily.
