Role: Front End Developer (Web Development)

Location: Remote working until further notice 

Contract Type: 6 months FTC

We are seeking an Developer to work on front end projects.  

For this position, you will play a pivotal part in the running, growth, and development of our engagement.  You will ensure the smooth running of projects through OLIVER Agency, and we are looking for exceptional people who are looking to accelerate their career growth and amaze the client. 

What you will be doing: 

• Accurately implementing the designs that come out of the creative / design team. 

• Operating within the existing Agile framework and helping to develop internal processes. 

• Working on multiple products, including custom developments and mobile applications 

• Ensuring all code conforms to the standards, coding methodologies and best practices. 

• Ensuring all code releases to the live environment conform to company regulations. 

• Responsibility for producing quality code and working with the testers to ensure correct functionality and behavior and for fixing day-to-day bugs. 

• Researching and maintaining knowledge of developments relating to new technology and exploring whether any new developments or existing technology can be pushed to do more for our clients. 

• Liaising with external clients directly on technical queries as and when required. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

 

• Demonstrable experience developing web applications.  

• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs desktop) and optimizing output to match the specific platform.  

• Good understanding of templating languages  

• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.  

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools - the ability to crop, resize in Photoshop.
