About the role: 

Brandtech+ is seeking a Senior Designer to join a high-profile account for a Fortune 500 financial services firm. If you are excited about bringing your creative skills for print and digital applications to life for a highly visible global corporate brand, then this is a great role for you. You will be working with a global integrated cross-functional team that is pushing the boundaries of their work to create great experiences for clients both internal and external.  

As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of high-quality visual assets for a range of cross-platform design work while adhering to creative/brand guidelines. You must possess a strong understanding of design principles related to layout, typography, color application and imagery. It is expected that you will proactively maintain superb design quality, accuracy, and consistency; in addition to being able to articulate and sell your ideas confidently.  

Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you will work as part of a team designing and producing a variety of materials. In the day-to-day, you’ll be designing and executing on integrated design projects, consisting of marketing collateral for both print and digital deliverables for internal/external campaigns/brands. This can include brochures, invitations, email, social and digital banners, signage, posters and large-scale event collateral like staging, wayfinding and swag items. Our ideal candidate can work effectively in a fast-paced environment but must also work well as a part of a team. Technical print production skills and knowledge of design fundamentals are important qualifications. 

This role is remote and will require an individual that is capable of independently organizing themselves and communicating transparently with colleagues. They should have a desire to proactively seek out learning opportunities to ensure continued growth.  

Our global team is comprised of creative and digital designers, project managers, developers, content strategists, copy editors and video producers.  team partners between North America, Latin America, EMEA and APAC. 

 

What you will be doing:  

  • Produce well-crafted creative concepts for various applications on print and digital marketing to meet the aims of the client brief and are adherent to brand guidelines. 
  • Possesses a strong understanding and ability to apply core design principles for the use of layout structure, type application and color theory. 
  • Uses experience and knowledge of design principles to interpret briefs and solve problems. 
  • Can bring to life a creative leader’s vision, interpret feedback and consistently add value  
    to the work. 
  • Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on schedules and client needs.  
  • Strong ability to present work and articulate creative rationales to both colleagues and clients. 
  • May lead smaller-scale design projects independently. 

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in: Print, Digital, Artwork, Production  
  • Expert knowledge working within the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) programs  
    (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)  
  • Highly creative, innovative, and skilled in design and graphics 
  • Strong knowledge and ability to apply core design fundamentals of layout, type  
    and color theory  
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Program Suite (Word, Excel), Motion Graphics, UI, FIGMA, Sketch and HTML  
  • The ability to interpret marketing ideas and turns them into visual reality at a  
    world-class level 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective client and internal relationships 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding to execute the work according to the customers’ needs 
  • Self-disciplined to be able to focus, organize and collaborate in a fully remote function. Communicates fluidly with global colleagues to communicates fluidly with global colleagues to ensure that working teams are always informed and updated
