About the role:
We’ve got an amazing opportunity for one super talented Integrated Designer to become part of the Brandtech+ global family and network. Our only ask of you would be to develop and create leading visual concepts that communicates inspiring digital ideas that are informative as they are captivating.
Drive best-in-class design practices and roll out your design thinking and execution across 360-degree campaigns. Your design experience should be broad, your portfolio should feature design projects previously executed on past or present client that includes BTL print elements, digital, visual merchandising, and in-store signage, although you’re not limited to these. A great spread of your experience, expression of concepts and ideas using graphics and language all within the field of visual communication is what we’re looking forward to seeing from you.
You will be responsible for designing, managing, and producing design concepts through to full artwork stage for a wide variety of outputs. This role will work under the direction of a Creative Director and work with and provided support to the broader creative team to assist, guide and mentor the executional process. Our ideal candidate will have prior in-agency or design firm experience and a portfolio to match.
You will be working within brand guidelines, producing design and artwork to the client’s brief and exacting standards. They will proactively manage projects within agreed timescales considering quality, accuracy, and consistency. The expectation is to maintain a fast paced and responsive workflow across multiple projects and brands within our organisation whilst learning from others and developing your craft along the way.
What you will be doing:
- Meet with clients, project team or account manager to clearly understand the brief.
- Design research to deliver fresh insight, ideas, and demonstrate effectiveness across all partner brands with knowledgeable interest and in-depth understanding.
- Work on projects from start to finish — working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and implementation.
- Show strong conceptual and integrated design thinking for web, ecommerce, social content, and digital marketing.
- Show strong conceptual and integrated design thinking for digital and social advertising.
- Define the look and feel for variety of digital design projects.
- Implement existing brand guidelines and templates on projects.
- The ability to work under direction and using your own initiative.
- Presenting your work internally and to clients and manage workloads within agreed timings.
- Keeping up to date with current design trends.
- Understand what makes GREAT content e.g., best practices for making ecommerce, social assets and mobile first.
What you need to be great in this role:
- A rich portfolio of relevant work examples - digital, banners, emails, landing pages, in-store, event materials, collateral, icons, infographics, brochures, and campaigns.
- A keen sense of personal responsibility for the quality control, presentation, and accuracy of all work.
- Solid understanding of graphic design and web technologies.
- Brand identity, visual systems, and campaign identities as real working experience.
- 5+ years experience working with beverage / spirits brands or retail/ FMCG brands.
- Social and video design experience with Visual Arts BS/BA degree a plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating your ideas through to execution.
- A passion for digital trends and interaction / animation design.
- You’ll have a deep affinity with layout, typography, and ideas-generation.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and associated prototyping.
- A team player and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A portfolio comprised of traditional and digital, conceptual campaign, design, and interaction design work.
- Willingness to accept feedback and iterate over designs in a highly-collaborative, low-ego team environment.
- Overflowing with curiosity, creativity, and ambition.
