Role: Freelance Regional Account Director

Location: Manila, Philippines

Freelance Duration: 2 to 3 months 

 

About the role:

OLIVER is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a twist – we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. We are building a team of individuals who have the ability and confidence to learn on the job and help the client transform their marketing capabilities.

The Regional Account Director is a leadership position within OLIVER who is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the studio.  You serve as the main point of contact between the agency and the client, ensuring that client needs and objectives are understood and met.  You must ensure on-time, on-brief delivery of high-quality brand campaigns whether mainstream, digital, or PR. As the Regional Account Director, you will be leading project delivery, from ideation to execution, working with multiple internal and external teams. You will support business growth by ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within budget, with POs and to the highest quality standards. You will also work closely with the Business Director to ensure that the Clients are happy, and to look for up-selling opportunities.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Client relationship management.  Building and maintaining strong relationships with client.
  • Team leadership.  Leading a team of account managers, creatives, project and social media managers in the Asean region.  You will provide direction, guidance, and support to your team members, ensuring that everyone is working towards common goals.   
  • Campaign management.  Overseeing the development and execution of advertising campaigns which includes budgets, timelines, and ensuring that creative work aligns with the client’s brand and goals.
  • Financial management and businesss development.  Responsible for budgeting and financial aspects of client accounts including forecasting, managing project margins, monitoring revenue & expenses, and achieving growth targets. Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.
  • Client presentations.  Developing and presenting campaign proposals, reports, and updates to clients.  Effective communication and presentation skills are essential in this role. 
  • Problem solving.  Addressing challenges and resolving issues that may arise during campaigns is crucial.  You need to be able to think on your feet and find solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Quality control.  Ensuring the quality of all deliverables, from creative work to campaign performance reports, is essential to maintain the agency’s reputation and client satisfaction.
  • Strategic thinking.  Developing a deep understanding of the client’s business and industry to provide valuable insights and recommendations for long-term success.
  • Effective use of creative tools.  Ensuring that the team utilizes available tools such as Creative X, A/B testing. eDam, automation, genAI, and others to enhance creative effectiveness, streamline efficiency, and promote synergy within campaigns.

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in client servicing or account management
  • Have solid experience in managing multiple teams and leading accounts autonomously
  • Proof of solid client servicing record
  • A track record of successfully expanding the size or profitability of client accounts
  • Self-motivated, working with little supervision
  • Collaborative team player, open minded and non-political
  • Proven ability to communicate and liaise with junior to senior-levels in the business
  • Discrete about all confidential and personal information
  • Driven, proactive, helpful, and an enthusiastic team player
  • Financial rigor and business acumen
  • Quality of being extremely thorough and accurate
  • Clear understanding of all OLIVER products
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities
