Role: Senior Account / Project Manager

Location: Manila, Philippines 

 

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Senior Account / Project Manager to join our expanding team working with brands across a wide variety of briefs from social media content, video production, strategy and digital assets. Preferably someone with good exposure on alcohol or other refreshment brands. 

You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations onsite. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency and be able to demonstrate yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day management of clients. You are responsible for liaising with the Clients and internal teams to ensure the on-time, on-brief delivery of high- quality digital projects and campaigns. What we want to see is a proven track record of driving multiple complex projects forward, a positive and proactive nature and the ability to bring in new business, supporting the onsite teams. 

As the Senior Account / Project Manager, you will be leading project delivery, from ideation to execution, working with multiple internal and external teams. You will support business growth by ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will also work closely with the Account Director to ensure that the Clients are happy, and to look for up-selling opportunities. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage day-to-day account needs autonomously 
  • Ensure client contact proactively supports the team's performance 
  • Ensure client expectations are well managed and realized 
  • Monitor, guide, and coach team members for their professional growth and development 
  • Drive quality control – develop robust rationales for work to be presented 
  • Have a perspective beyond the immediate tasks e.g. forecast and resourcing 
  • Be a collaborative problem solver with the facilitation of the team’s development 
  • Translate information about problems and their solutions across the team 
  • Search for new business opportunities and always look to grow the team responsibilities 
  • Create and monitor KPIs to ensure the timely delivery of key objectives 
  • Wear multiple hats as needed for the success of the team 
  • Demonstrate strategic understanding and insight into the client's brand and business priorities 
  • Ensure admin is done and team timesheets are completed in a timely manner 
  • Chair meetings and confidently present work to senior client figures at local and regional levels 
  • Ensure there's an ongoing focus on campaign effectiveness 
  • Inspire clear briefs and provide sound creative judgment 
  • Proactively manage finances – audits, income changes, budgets, and resources 
  • Generate monthly Management Information packs 
  • Liaise with third-party vendors when necessary 

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Excellent client engagement skills with 6 to 8 years experience with ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Demonstrable account management experience and a proven track record of managing global clients and campaigns. 
  • The ability to effectively and proactively manage account finances and invoicing. 
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to the design studio output. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
