A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

Inside Ideas Group is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a twist – we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. We are building a team of individuals who have the ability and confidence to learn on the job and help the client transform their marketing capabilities.

The Google Large Customer Marketing team is looking for a passionate program manager to drive projects delivering thought leadership to industry audiences in Malaysia.

You’ll help shape and execute key thought leadership initiatives inspiring our most important partners to deepen their partnerships with Google. You will support the team to create thought leadership narratives and execute go-to-market strategies including marketing across a range of formats (events, experiences, content, digital marketing). You will also work closely with cross-functional teams like Sales, Market Research, PR, and Legal, as well as external agencies, to bring the programs to life.

This is not a sales / account management position.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist the Marketing Manager (MM) in developing innovative marketing strategies to engage large advertisers and agencies, to drive adoption of Google's Ad solutions.
  • Independently organize or support MM in organizing virtual and in-person events such as YouTube Works
  • Develop thought leadership content and case studies for select product areas. Manage amplification of content through internal (Think With Google) and external channels (Publications such as A&M)
  • Track and report results of various marketing programs
  • Manage external event and content agencies for delivery of assigned projects
  • Attend X-fn meetings on designated projects. Share updates and progress on work streams that you are handling

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree or polytechnic diploma with coursework in marketing, economics, research methods, and/or analytics
  • Fast learner with strong interest in developing a broad skill set
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple workstreams and/or stakeholders
  • Highly organized and efficient with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or at agencies
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and/or the wider digital advertising landscape
  • Experience creating and project-managing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Native fluency in English (writing samples would be a plus) and editorial capability
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills
