Role: Marketing Manager

Location: Tokyo, Japan

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and assist in managing cultural partner marketing materials, brand marketing campaigns, and administrative tasks. We seek someone who is comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders and who has the ability to think strategically while also operating on a tactical level.


What you will be doing: 

Cultural Partner (CP) Marketing Management:

  • Work directly with cultural partners to provide ongoing marketing support including:
  • Managing creative requests and driving process improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining QR codes for cultural partners.
  • Creating, updating, and managing Asana boards for Marketing and Onboarding
  • Offering general project management support.
  • Managing invoices for the Marketing Management team.
  • Coordinating with external vendors for print and other production needs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of CP marketing initiatives and strengthen relationships.

Marketing Campaign Support:

  • Assist the marketing team in executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with wider teams (digital, design, partnerships, product, and data) to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and CP communications.

Administrative Support: Handle tasks such as scheduling, archiving, vendor payments, and Google Drive management.

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proficiency in Japanese is essential.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in an agency, cultural or corporate environment.
  • Interest in the arts and cultural sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment and efficiently manage multiple tasks.-
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
