Role: Analyst Relations - APAC

About the role:
Google is developing cloud solutions for companies, leveraging years of experience in building secure, reliable and scalable cloud technology. As we bring products to market that help transform how companies collaborate and operate, we want you to communicate our product vision and roadmap to global industry analyst firms. You will influence how analysts think about Google Cloud and its products, and you will help define how companies select enterprise technology partners.
You are an entrepreneurial, strategic analyst relations professional with a background in developing high-impact relationships with analysts and industry influencers. You will report into the Head of Google Cloud Analyst Relations for JAPAC, work with leaders across Google Cloud in Asia Pacific, collaborating with teams in communications, sales, customer engineering and field marketing, amongst others. You'll have the opportunity to blend high level, critical thinking with more tactical operational activities.
You will be responsible for increasing our visibility, interactions and influence amongst the analyst community in Asia Pacific, and supporting the overall analyst engagement program across the region.
What you will be doing:
- Drive awareness of Google Cloud in Asia Pacific and expand analysts’ understanding of Google Cloud’s value proposition and differentiation in the market.
- Execute briefings, inquiries, and strategy days with relevant analysts and company spokespeople to establish Google as a leader for cloud technology in the minds of analysts.
- Support analyst programming at key Google Cloud events in the region and industry conferences in priority markets.
- Develop and foster relationships with key analysts and market influencers in Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on India.
- Amplify customer and partner voices amongst the analyst community, showcasing demonstrated success across key industry and solution areas.
- Be a strategic partner to Google Cloud; contribute to the regional and global strategy for Google Cloud’s Analyst Relations program to identify opportunities to scale for increased impact.
- Prioritize/manage inbound requests for information, report reviews, speaking engagements, and customer references.
- Make market research a part of our culture by ensuring analyst perspectives and data is integrated into sales and GTM narratives, and marketing materials.
- Support business leaders and key spokespeople in analyst relationship building and act as a trusted advisor.
- Manage program reporting, metrics and analyst databases.
- Build out analyst briefing materials, messages and customer reference materials for analyst engagements.
- Capture analyst insights to share with business leaders and identify opportunities for shifting analyst perception.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience infusing thought leadership and differentiation into communications strategies.
- Analyst relations experience in the B2B tech industry.
- 6+ years' experience in analyst relations, communications, product marketing in B2B tech.
- Proven track record in acting as a trusted advisor to the business and senior leaders.
- Experience in managing strategic analyst engagements and building analyst relationships.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with large cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical and detail-oriented execution.
- Penchant towards action; ability to make decisions quickly amidst multiple stakeholders.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
