Job Title: Assistant Brand Journalist
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
About the role:
Working in true collaboration with our client, we have one goal in mind: ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective needs-based content and digital media campaigns’.
This role is right for you if you are a great storyteller and you would like to be a part of making brands fit their tone of voice to this landscape and advise on content that’ll powerfully connect with consumers.
What you will do:
- Write, research and conceptualise creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
- Write short and long-form articles for digital and social
- Repurpose existing content for different uses
- Master a variety of brand voices
- Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
- Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content
- Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
- Report to Brand Journalist.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Strong experience writing for digital and social media with 2-3 years of working experience
- A background in the advertising or journalism environment
- A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent in writing for beauty brands
- Experience of publishing through social media channels and content management systems
- A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums
- A flair for words
- The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
