Role: Designer

Location: Mumbai, India 

About the role:

Working in true collaboration with our client, we have one goal in mind: ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective needs based content and digital media campaigns’.

OLIVER is looking to recruit a Designer to work on-site with one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving motion digital content, with a deep knowledge of digital first advertising and creative.

The candidate will be partnering with the team in producing animations to the client’s brief and exacting standards whilst positively influencing clients with their creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts. The candidate will be working on an account around all things digital design including, social media, E-commerce and internal videos. Both team members will work closely with the Designer to execute all work.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Experience in moving motion and video editing is mandatory. Responsible for brand consistency across all outputs.
  • Producing short-form mobile first innovative digital content for the client’s websites, digital applications and social media channels 

  • Ability to work independently from creative concept to execution
  • To be accountable for the work by the creative team ensuring all work are as per brand guideline and platform’s best practises. 

  • Together with the Senior Designer, the candidate will work actively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the highest level of client service – from brief, creative, design and production
  • To work closely with the Senior Designer to create engaging moving motion content across platforms
  • To assist the Senior Designer in pitching creative solutions in response to marketing strategies 

  • To manage the preparation of all finished artwork files that will comply with the correct output specifications 

  • To ensure all video editing/animation work adheres to the best practises of digital and social trends and requirements
  • Managing projects deliverables and key deadlines
  • Quality control.
  • Client relations, alternative point of contact on-site, supporting the Senior Designer in the day to day relationships with key stakeholder
  • Creative and quality oversight for work produced locally.
  • To assist the Designer and copywriter with in-house shoots.
  • Work with key clients to deliver the following types of projects: Social Media and E-Commerce, Internal communication support like videos, Constant and pro-active branded assets optimisation throughout the company  

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Experience of working closely with client and be confident presenting to the client
  • To be self-motivated, working with little supervision, communicating clearly with a line manager about own development needs. 
  • Multimedia arts graduate/field related
  • The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity
  • Ability to take and challenge a client’s brief, help them through the creative process.
  • Strong in After Affects or any other digital animation software and video editing
  • Strong Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Creative ability with strong adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Comfortable managing large design projects
  • Guardian of the client’s brand guidelines, constantly challenging and developing them
  • Working knowledge of digital design and its requirements is a benefit
  • Relevant design/creative experience
  • Relevant knowledge across production, print and digital
  • Awareness of emerging trends in design and the digital landscape
  • Good time management skills
  • Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
  • Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships
  • The drive to actively seek out opportunities for the account
  • Confident in your own abilities and be able to proactively influence clients and manage their expectations.
  • Strong communication skills and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved.

  • A good problem solver
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
