Role:  Social Media Content Creator

Location:  Mumbai, India

About the role:

  • As a Social Media Content Creator within U-Studio (OLIVER’s in-house agency for Unilever), you will create high-impact, culture-first social content for 2–3 FOODS BUSINESS GROUP brands.
  • The role is hands-on and creator-led: you’ll ideate, shoot, edit, and package content designed to perform across Instagram, YouTube Shorts (and TikTok where applicable), staying native to each platform’s formats, trends, and algorithm signals.
  • You will be responsible for turning everyday food moments into “scroll-stopping” visual stories reacting quickly to cultural conversations, trending audio/edits, and seasonal moments, while keeping the work on-brand and performance-driven.
  • You’ll also collaborate closely with Influencer and GenAI teams to scale outputs efficiently and improve effectiveness.

What you will be doing:

  • Concept and produce platform-native short-form videos and visual assets (shooting + editing).
  • Create reactive/trend-led content quickly, linking brands to current cultural moments.
  • Build flexible asset kits that can be adapted across multiple formats while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Apply and evolve brand guidelines into content that feels authentic to Indian audiences and each platform.
  • Work with analytics to learn what’s working and optimise future content (hooks, watch time, engagement, etc.).
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging formats, and new creator styles to keep brands competitive.

 What success looks like:

  • Content that consistently drives strong engagement and positive brand sentiment versus category benchmarks.
  • Faster turnaround from idea to publish - without compromising quality.
  • Brands showing up credibly in culture (not just copying trends).
  • A distinct, elevated visual style that makes food content feel premium, sensorial, and shareable.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 3-5 yrs of experience in social media content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional social media content creation, with strong examples from both FOODS BUSINESS GROUP and premium/FMCG brand content worlds
  • 3-5 yrs of visual storytelling expertise that connects platform-specific techniques to measurable engagement outcomes
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalise on cultural trends before they peak
  • Expertise in **Adobe Creative Suite** *(particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects)* and mobile editing applications
  • 3-5yrs of experience creating content that performs exceptionally well across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
  • A talent for translating technical product benefits into visually compelling narratives
  • The ability to work at pace without sacrificing quality, thriving in high-pressure environments
  • An eye for the next big visual trend and how to authentically connect it to FOODS BUSINESS GROUP brands
  • Native-level fluency in Hindi and/or a regional Indian language, and fluent in English (spoken and written you will work with an international team)
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
