Role:  Operations Director / Project Director

Location:  Manila, Philippines 

 

About the role: 

In this role you will oversee a variety of client-led work as part of the OLIVER Philippines Hub team. You will work with a variety of clients with XX of our main client from Insurance & Pharma industries. As the Project Director you will define and shape all account processes and set operational best practices across the client accounts. You will wear many hats and need a versatile skill set to manage varied and dynamic projects. 

Reporting to the Business Director, the Project Director oversees this growing team currently comprising of Senior Account Manager, Designer and Copywriter. The Hub Team is a central resource, which supports and delivers creative output for key clients across the region. 

  

What you will be doing: 

  • Scoping, planning and specification of projects. 
  • Take overall responsibility for your team’s project governance, ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard for marketing communication channels 
  • Team coordination: Ability to lead and coordinate diverse creative teams including designers, developers, copywriters, and marketers. 
  • Conflict Resolution: Skilled in resolving creative conflicts and fostering a collaborative environment. 
  • Effectively monitoring progress and profitability, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on brief, on time and within budget. 
  • Maintain and support the client’s brand guidelines and standards as specified and manage the quality control across all projects 
  • Develop and effectively maintain excellent working relationships with the Client Services team to deliver projects on brief.  

  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • The ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality work that is on time and within budget.  
  • The ability to parachute into situations, assess them and make quick beneficial decisions  
  • Proactively identifying risks and obstacles and developing mitigation strategies. 
  • Being able to define best practice and creative processing.  
  • Understanding of the importance of prioritising work/shifting priorities as required to meet ever-changing deadlines.  
  • Highly entrepreneurial and willing to refine the key skills for running a business. 
  • Understanding of Creative Processes: Familiarity with creative workflows, including design, copywriting, digital media, branding, and video production. 
  • Portfolio Management: Experience in handling multiple creative project 
  • simultaneously, balancing creativity with client requirements and timelines 
  • Experience in financial and consumer health category a plus 
  • Experience working with FMCG and financial products.  
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in:  
    • Digital  
    • Print  
    • Motion Graphics  
    • Web Design  
    • UX-UI  
    • Artwork  
    • Production   
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies 
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
