French (Canada) Apparel Brand Linguist | Clothing Brand

For our prestigious client in the Apparel and Clothing industry, we are seeking a talented French (Canadian) freelancer to join our team at OLIVER to deliver and maintain high-quality transcreation for our key global clients. 

In this position, you will be:

• Responsible for the delivery of transcreations (from UK English to French Canada), preserving the intended message, voice, and tone. Ensure the target copy is fluent, in line with the Brand’s personality and stylistically compelling.
• Write creative and compelling copy that resonates with the target audience and engages them (selected deliverables only).

Key Qualifications:

• Native-speaker level knowledge of French Canada.
• Excellent creative writing skills and ability to adapt writing styles and tone for different target audiences.
• Experience with translating marketing copy while maintaining brand voice and messaging.
• Knowledge of technical writing principles and ability to translate complex technical language into easy-to-understand copy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback.
