Account Executive

About the role: 

The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting our agency team to ensure the smooth management of projects through our creative studio, working closely with our client brand managers. You will support the account leadership team in managing the day-to-day activity of the account. Responsibilities include managing client deadlines, support with creative briefs and basic budget tracking. The Account Executive must be a positive team member who is eager to grow and work within a fast paced environment.   

What you will be doing: 

  • Support account leadership with drafting briefs, collaborating with our creative team to develop, adapt, optimize, and deploy assets
  • Maintain regular client contact to foster relationship with day-to-day clients, external agency partners, and our cross-functional agency team
  • Communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally  
  • Keep senior management briefed on account activities  
  • Leverage project management skills to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Evaluate creative work for consistency and accuracy to ensure output aligns to client expectations
  • Manage client expectations at all times to foster effectiveness/productivity  
  • Effectively lead internal meetings (e.g. daily status meetings, project kickoffs, etc.), making important, relevant contributions, and generate workable conclusions  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Previous work experience or education in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 2+ years in Promotional Pharmaceutical Account Management – across both Healthcare Professional and Patient markets preferred
  • Basic understanding of Medical, Legal and Regulatory review processes and MLR systems (i.e., Veeva Vault)
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under tight timelines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a high attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate ideas and work
  • Ability to build strong, constructive relationships with clients and agency teams
  • An ability to problem solve calmly and effectively and handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact 
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $70,000 - $80,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
  • This role will be performed hybrid at our Whippany, NJ location on an add needed basis.
