Role: Account Manager
Location: Grand Rapids, MI – Hybrid/Onsite (2-3x/week)
About the role:
OLIVER is partnering with BISSELL to build an in-house agency that will drive creative excellence and marketing effectiveness for one of the most recognized brands in consumer homecare. As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between our in-house agency and the client, ensuring seamless communication, project execution, and client satisfaction.
This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across creative, production, and marketing teams. You will be instrumental in overseeing marketing and communication strategies across various channels, including digital, print, social, and in-store activations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore GenAI tools to enhance workflow efficiencies and drive innovation in campaign execution.

What you will be doing:
- Act as the key liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring alignment on marketing objectives and execution.
- Work closely with the Business Director, Studio Manager, Creative Director, and Project Managers to oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the client's brand, business goals, and marketing strategy to drive results-driven initiatives.
- Track project success metrics, schedules, and budgets, providing monthly reports and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client insights into creative solutions that resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure smooth workflow operations, coordinating between compliance, creative, and production teams to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
- Oversee financial processes, including budgeting, estimates, purchase orders, billing, and reconciliation.
- Support the creative development process by providing strategic guidance, managing stakeholder feedback, and ensuring final assets align with brand and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices and emerging GenAI solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with CPG industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and AI-driven solutions to inform strategy and execution.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 3+ years of experience in account/project management within an advertising agency, marketing agency, or equivalent.
- Strong experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, print, social, and in-store activations.
- Familiarity with Project Management tools such as Workfront, Monday, or Wrike.
- Understanding of CGI, photo, and video production processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Proven track record of achieving growth targets and delivering positive client feedback.
- A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex projects and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey creative and technical concepts effectively.
- Interest or experience with GenAI technologies to enhance project workflows and creative development.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Mac OS.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $63,750.00 to $71,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
