About the role 

OLIVER is hiring a Project Manager to join the team. We’re adding to our Minneapolis-St. Paul based studio team that partners with OLIVER teams around the globe, serving our client with high-quality creative for household-name brands. Those with experience in managing digital content, social campaigns and the like within a creative agency will have an advantage. The Project Manager is responsible for running e-commerce content, social and digital projects, both creative and production processes, and working alongside our account and creatives to drive a project from brief to delivery. They work with the account manager/director to schedule projects and resources and help source the right talents, both internally and externally, to fulfill projects to the highest standards. They have a good understanding of digital disciplines and are confident working in agency teams. They create timing plans and, when needed, budgets within our time and tracking system, assume responsibility for the review and approval process of creative output and ensure the projects they own run on time and on budget. 

You will need to be great with creative teams, account teams and client teams alike, hardworking and passionate about creative and producing the best product you can. Process is key, and someone who really respects and understands that, although creative needs freedom, it also needs to follow a framework and process to allow it to thrive. What we want to see is a proven track record of producing multiple complex projects. You should have meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency, and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day running of multiple projects. Most important, this role requires a courteous, positive and high-energy individual with great people skills. We value hard work, and we want to have fun doing it.   

What you will be doing: 

  • Taking overall ownership of integrated creative projects from brief to fulfillment, in partnership with account and creative. 
  • Working closely with account teams in preparing milestones for the client. 
  • Liaising with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules. 
  • Identifying, exploiting and managing ad hoc opportunities when they arise. 
  • Working with account teams to agree and create timing plans and estimates within our internal time and tracking system. 
  • Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource and help to source external resource where necessary. 
  • Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget. 
  • Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines. 
  • Educate and manage internal stakeholders in relevant production processes where necessary. 
  • Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times. 
  • Provide job reporting to the business lead on a regular basis to ensure projects are running correctly, to budget and schedule. 
  • Understand how to report and manage operational income for projects in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Escalate any queries concerning invoicing, or estimates provided by the studio on their projects to the account lead. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Experience managing digital and integrated campaigns in a creative and production agency. Currently, the work includes social content, digital display ads, website content, email, e-commerce content and more. 
  • Be unafraid to ask questions and have an innate ability to identify and manage project risk. 
  • Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms. 
  • Previous experience of project budget management and scheduling. 
  • Previous experience of resource and production services sourcing. 
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage past experience to provide the best solution for each project you own. 
  • Have a working knowledge of AI and how it can support creative processes, project management and other functions 
  • Be willing to share your experience where relevant and when it adds to the offering to the client. 
  • Proactivity and a willingness to ensure project success. 
  • Be financially conscientious when managing the delivery of a project ensuring all relevant parties are aware of financial implications of delays, additional amends and re-briefs. 
  • Be able to verify the qualitative and quantitative output of a project against the project objectives. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $68,000.00 to $76,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package
