About the role:

Oliver is partnering with Bissell seeking an experienced and highly organized Studio Lead to lead our dynamic and innovative team. As a Studio Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our creative studio, ensuring efficient workflows, optimal resource allocation, and the production of high-quality content that aligns with our client’s brand standards and strategic objectives. You will play a critical role in team leadership, mentoring a diverse group of creative professionals. By fostering an environment of collaboration and encouragement, you will drive the team to innovate and excel in their respective roles. Your expertise in managing resources effectively will ensure that the studio operates efficiently, while also providing opportunities for professional development and growth within the team. 

In addition to managing workflows and team dynamics, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio's infrastructure. Furthermore, you will act as the primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and open communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will be instrumental in translating client needs into actionable creative strategies, adapting processes to accommodate new challenges and opportunities. By implementing quality control measures and identifying areas for process improvement, you will continuously enhance the studio's output and effectiveness, solidifying our client’s reputation for producing outstanding content. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Studio Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of studio operations, including scheduling, resource management, and workflow coordination, to ensure the timely delivery of projects. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional development. 
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that all content meets the client’s high standards for brand consistency and excellence. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the studio, implementing new systems and practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations. 
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Play an active role in recruiting new talent and developing existing team members, identifying skill gaps, and implementing training programs to enhance team capabilities. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of studio operations and projects, providing feedback to the team and making adjustments as necessary. 
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions or challenges in studio operations, ensuring project continuity and minimal impact on delivery schedules. 
  • Cultural Leadership: Cultivate a positive and inclusive studio culture that embraces diversity of thought and encourages innovative approaches to problem-solving. 
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and enhancing service quality through regular feedback and communication. 
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape, adapting strategies to maintain a leading edge in content creation and studio management. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a studio management or similar role within a creative, marketing, or advertising setting. 
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team, fostering an environment that promotes creativity and collaboration. 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage complex projects seamlessly. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with industry-standard creative tools and software, with an aptitude for learning new technologies. 
  • Ability to effectively manage and adapt to change within the studio environment, guiding the team through evolving project requirements and market dynamics. 
  • Capacity to envision the long-term direction of the studio, aligning daily operations with overarching business goals and industry trends. 
  • Skilled in handling interpersonal conflicts swiftly and diplomatically, ensuring a harmonious and productive studio atmosphere. 
  • High emotional intelligence to understand and manage your own emotions as well as those of the team, fostering a supportive work environment. 
  • Eagerness to explore new ideas and technologies, encouraging the team to experiment and adopt cutting-edge practices in content creation. 
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with industry contacts, vendors, and external partners that can benefit the studio's operations. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the studio's outputs. 
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $102,000.00 to $114,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
