Role: Resource Manager
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
About the role:
As a Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal part in the running, growth and development of one of our key clients. We are looking for exceptional characters who are looking for their next big move and who want to play a key part in an award-winning agency pushing business growth and overseeing the smooth running of creative production.
The role of the Resource Manager works to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, assigned and delivered on time. Under the direction of the Director of Resource Management, you will manage multiple projects and be involved in all phases of managing the production process including design, production, copywriting, and development to ensure high-priority projects are on-track and have the proper resources available.
What you will be doing:
- Traffic and monitor projects through our workflow to meet all deadlines.
- Ensure expected timelines and milestones are clearly indicated in briefs, lead communication, and escalate issues to Account stakeholders.
- Monitor team effort, bandwidth, and work with team leads to load-level for high priority projects.
- Preflight new projects for multiple lines of business to ensure required assets and information are provided before moving to team assignment.
- Maintain internal timelines with studio to ensure work is delivered to the Account stakeholders.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting for Account Leadership to capture hours by resource and lines of business.
- Plan to secure resource for coverage during PTO’s, holidays and busier periods.
- Onboard temporary resource to our account process and ensure access is granted to all required tools and applications.
- Attend internal status calls and project kick-off calls.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 1-3 years of traffic or project management experience with design studio, creative department, or advertising agency
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Excel; Adobe Creative Cloud, a plus; Proficiency with both Mac & PC platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
- Proven teamwork skills and flexibility as priorities are ever changing
- Skill in process creation, evaluation, adjustment
- Strong communication skills
- Mac application knowledge
- BA in Advertising, Communications, or related field
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $59,500.00 to $66,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
