THE ROLE: GLOBAL ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER

Reporting to the Global Innovation Manager, with a dotted line to the Global Development Director, the Global Associate Brand Manager will be a key member of the International Team. This role involves supporting global innovation projects, artwork development, dossier development, business analytics and assisting with market, product, and category research to support our international expansion into key markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with on-time in full project management of the multiyear innovation funnel, product packaging, label compliance, artwork and creative assets for existing and new markets. 
  • Lead the execution of day-to day operational portfolio management as the liaison between cross-functional teams (global & local teams).
  • Assist with Brand Visual Identity updates across touchpoints ranging from packaging and in-store to website and social channels.
  • Support global product innovation, renovation/adaptation projects & 8Q Plan with existing markets.
  • Support new market launch scoping as needed.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the China market – the business environment in which the brand competes, the category, the segment and the channels of the wellness industry.
  • Build and maintain International performance dashboard: track and analyze OLLY key markets performance; monitor competition and new launches to assess impact to OLLY; identify business drivers, threats, and opportunities.
  • Conduct global market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities to inform innovation strategy.
  • Monitor global industry trends and research competitive products, brands, and categories for existing/new segments.
  • Manage marketing/ trade samples and shipments for all markets.
  • Own the day-to-day budget tracking such as PO issuing and intercompany cross-charges.
  • Analyze bi-annual transfer pricing and ensure accuracy for distribution of these updates across key markets.

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2-3+years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry familiar with products sold across brick & mortar and e-commerce channels in US as well as global markets
  • Strong data analytics and Excel skills – previous experience working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and  building and maintaining performance dashboards and crafting written reports
  • Ability to take direction and execute to focus on what is important and necessary for the business
  • Foundational understanding of core business, including finance, innovation, operations, sales, marketing and brand building
  • Experience in innovation project/artwork management, and working with global teams, specifically in Asia
  • Strong presentation, cross cultural communication and storytelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to give and receive actionable feedback
  • Professional working or native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required

The pay range for this position is $93,000 - 114,000 dependent on experience and location.
