
Entry-Level Surveyor (Travel Required)

As an entry-level survey technician you will assist with the performance of field work on private or public owned project sites.
Job functions will include but are not limited to helping with conducting vertical and horizontal control surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, helping perform data processing and analysis, and recording survey data for construction and civil engineering projects. As an assistant surveyor you will work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
This position does require a significant amount of travel to out of state project sites at different stages of completion and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
This position includes:

- Paid transportation, lodging and meals for all out of town projects requiring an overnight stay.

You bring to the team:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- An interest in land surveying, 3D laser scanning, UAV/drones, geospatial technology, building communities
- A minimum high school diploma with a willingness to learn an in-demand profession while being paid or bring your associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Land Surveying.
- This opportunity requires up to 100% travel.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortability carrying between 50-75lbs for potentially long distances and walking on uneven terrain.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
