Job Description
As a Business Development Senior Specialist in our Water Market, you will act as a subject matter expert who consults firm-wide in water business development expertise and will lead functional teams or projects in business development pursuits by utilizing specialized breadth of expertise. In addition, you will interpret internal or external issues and develop solutions to ensure business development programs and projects meet the team’s overall objectives.
Other responsibilities include staying abreast of changes in the business development environment, working collaboratively to drive and execute a robust business development strategy that aligns with the firm’s strategic goals, monitor the effectiveness of that strategy, and develop plans to improve effectiveness. You will partner with technical leaders, marketing, and client experience resources to create and communicate intelligence information, and to interpret best practices, internal, and external information to create effective solutions and help develop a winning client pursuit approach.

- Previous experience in project management and client management
- Specialized expertise in water business development
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a business development role
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communication, public relations, or related field is preferred
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
