Job Description
We are a forward-thinking organization dedicated to attracting top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and creating an inclusive, innovative workplace. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Benefits Leader to provide leadership to the team members within the benefits area. In this role, you would execute benefit operations, manage and develop staff, and have accountability for the performance and results of the team. In addition, you would plan, develop, and implement strategic and tactical benefit plans for the firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Guiding day to day activities of the team while developing and mentoring staff in strategy and creativity in delivering a great experience for employees.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive benefit plans, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, and recognition programs.
- Ensuring all benefit plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Selecting and managing relationships with benefit plan providers and vendors.
- Analyzing the financial impact of benefit programs and make recommendations for cost savings and improvements.
- Overseeing the resolution of escalated employee benefit claims and issues.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Omaha or Lincoln, NE office locations or working in a hybrid environment aligned with one of these two locations.

You bring to the team:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related area preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum eight years’ experience in a related position.
- Minimum four years’ experience in management, supervisory, or leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally.
