Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead technical efforts on complex utility transmission and distribution projects within our Power Delivery team. You will oversee project execution, contribute to client strategy, and mentor engineers and designers to ensure excellence in both design and delivery.

This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who is passionate about engineering leadership, technical innovation, and supporting utility infrastructure improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of power delivery projects including substation, overhead/underground lines, and distribution planning.
  • Provide technical guidance and QA/QC oversight for engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to develop scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management activities.
  • Support project managers in resource planning and design strategy.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with a strong background in power delivery systems.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working directly with utility clients preferred.

 

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

Colorado Pay Range

$120,000 - $173,000 USD
