Job Description

As a Marketing Leader, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating a team of eight marketing professionals across multiple states. This team focuses on water, transportation, and community infrastructure industries. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Leadership team to help implement strategic and tactical plans, contribute to marketing initiatives, and support day-to-day operations that align with team and service area goals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s structure and service areas to help align team strengths with project needs
  • Collaborate with internal leaders to support marketing activities that advance firm objectives
  • Contribute to marketing strategies that help differentiate Olsson in the industry
  • Partner with creative, client experience, and business development teams to support winning work strategies within assigned areas/markets
  • Coordinate and produce proposals and marketing materials for key pursuits
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and leverage technology for efficiency
  • Share marketing and firmwide initiatives with the team, ensuring clarity and alignment
  • Support team members in pursuit and conference management processes through mentorship and collaboration
  • Learn and apply Olsson’s marketing tools and platforms, including Vantagepoint Hubs, InDesign, Microsoft Teams, Joist AI, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Review
  • Use data to help evaluate and improve marketing performance
  • Participate in local community and industry events and conferences
We have one opening and will consider candidates located in our Lincoln, NE, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ offices. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well with a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related area
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in an applicable field
  • Minimum of four years of experience in management, supervisory, or leadership roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign
  • Ability and willingness to travel to team member office locations 
  • Eagerness to learn and grow every day, drive to seek out new opportunities, approaches, and best practices to enhance marketing efforts and position the firm more effectively

The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

Colorado Pay Range

$105,000 - $144,000 USD
