Job Description
As a Survey Design Manager, you will lead the development and quality assurance of survey designs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards. You will provide senior-level review of survey deliverables, collaborate with clients to address technical questions, and guide the team through all phases of survey projects. Occasional travel to project sites may be required to validate field conditions and oversee implementation.
You are passionate about:
- Lead Technical Oversight: Direct and manage staff on survey-related technical aspects, ensuring coordination across all disciplines involved in projects.
- Quality Assurance: Plan and oversee the QA/QC process for survey deliverables, maintaining high standards of precision and reliability.
- Client Consultation: Serve as a trusted resource for clients, providing guidance and resolving survey-related challenges.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Strengthen and expand expertise in survey design methodologies and best practices.
- Senior-Level Review: Conduct detailed reviews of survey plans and data, acting as a technical resource for complex issues.
- Data and Design Support: Assist in preparing survey studies, including drafting, sketching, and data acquisition as needed.
- Efficiency and Innovation: Promote process improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce turnaround time.
- Team Development: Supervise and mentor less experienced staff, reviewing assignments and fostering professional growth.

High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in surveying.
