Job Description

Surveying is a critical component of construction and civil engineering projects. Working closely with surveyors, engineers, and project managers, you will help ensure deliverables meet client expectations, project requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain survey drawings and models in Civil 3D for a variety of public and private sector projects.
  • Prepare survey deliverables including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, plats, legal descriptions, exhibits, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure all survey documents comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Support the continued growth and efficiency of the survey team by providing technical expertise, improving drafting workflows, and mentoring less experienced CAD staff.

Qualifications

You are passionate about:

  • Working collaboratively with others.
  • Having ownership in the work you do.
  • Using your talents to positively affect communities.

You bring to the team:

  • Demonstrated experience preparing survey deliverables including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, plats, legal descriptions, exhibits, and boundary and topographic survey documents.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying principles, practices, terminology, and survey documentation requirements.
  • Ability to develop and review complex CAD drawings with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with surveyors, engineers, and project managers throughout all phases of a project.
