Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (AI Agent Tech) - San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Alice, our AI Sales Development Rep, was the pioneer in establishing the digital workers category. In less than a year since launch, she has generated millions in revenue and earned the trust of hundreds of companies, including Brex, Otter AI, and Hasura. Our second worker, Mike, is the world’s best calling agent, and supercharges speed to lead.
Our startup thrives on a culture of relentless velocity, ownership, and boundary-pushing. Our team comprises of pirates - ex-founders and founding employees of unicorns (e.g., Brex, Tractable), as well as entrepreneurial operators from Revolut, Amazon, and McKinsey.
About This Role:
We're hiring full-stack engineers who will shape the future of AI and digital workers. As part of the engineering team at 11x, you'll be expected to own products and problems end-to-end, driven by our #1 core value—velocity.
- Architect and build new workflows within our products, while maintaining and optimizing existing feature-rich workflows
- Bridge the gap between Applied Research, GTM, Product, and Engineering
- Identify and implement architectural improvements and scalability solutions
- Drive technical decisions and best practices across the team
- Contribute to product engineering
- Salary: $150k - $200k

- Tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Python, Twilio, Vercel, AWS
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- IC, full-stack SWE. Not a problem if you want a leadership role down the line, but currently optimizing for IC.
- 4+ years of experience as full stack engineer, or significantly across both frontend and backend. (flexible for exceptional candidates)
- Big plus - Former technical founders, founding engineers or engineers in high-growth companies.
- Experience at hypergrowth startups (e.g., going from 50 to 1000 employees in 3-4 years)
- Track record of staying at companies for meaningful periods
- Rapid career progression (IC promotions)
- Top university education preferred but not required
- Notable achievements outside work (e.g., math competitions, successful side projects)
- Strong TypeScript experience (hard requirement)
- Optimizing for full-stack product engineering but it's ok to lean towards either of these:
- FE: Next.JS, React, Typescript
- BE: Node.JS, Typescript
- Thrives in chaotic environments and can handle ambiguity. Motivated by moving very quickly.
- Ability to compress traditional development cycles (2-week processes into 2 days)
- Experience owning problems end-to-end, and willing to pick up whatever knowledge is missing to get the job done to ensure both the team and its customers succeed.
