Engineering Manager (ConstructionTech) - Hybrid

We're looking for our first Engineering Manager to join the OneCrew team. In this pivotal role, you'll build and lead within our software engineering organization to deliver critical solutions for OneCrew customers that cement OneCrew’s place in the paving industry ecosystem. This is an opportunity to spread your wings and work directly with our leadership team.

Qualifications

  • 4-8+ years of software engineering experience in a high velocity environment

  • 1-3+ years of direct software engineering leadership or management experience

  • Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle practices and how to orchestrate effectively

  • Proven ability to recruit, hire, and develop engineering talent

  • Familiarity with nodejs, React, AWS, PostgreSQL tech stack a plus

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Seniority:

  • 6 -​ 10 years of experience in total as a software engineering with the past 2-​3 years as an engineering leader/manager

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years of direct software engineering leadership or management experience
  • Experience at a relatively early stage startup (earlier than series B)
  • Recent experience at a B2B SaaS company

Hard Skills:

  • Familiarity with nodejs,​ React,​ AWS,​ PostgreSQL tech stack a plus.​

Soft Skills:

  • Proven ability to recruit,​ hire,​ fire,​ and develop engineering talent
  • Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle practices and how to orchestrate effectively

ROLE DETAILS:

  • Salary: $170k - $210k
  • Equity: Competitive
  • Visa sponsorship NOT available
  • Hybrid Work Policy: Hybrid; expected 3+ days in-office weekly (at our FiDi office)
