Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

Job overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead and oversee our corporate accounting operations and treasury function. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting and treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep accounting background, effective leadership skills, and a keen eye for identifying and driving process improvements.
About you: You are an accomplished accounting professional with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and treasury management. You've obtained a CPA (active or inactive) or equivalent certification and have extensive experience in managing accounting and treasury teams. Your knack for process optimization is coupled with your ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, ensuring compliance and efficiency across corporate accounting and treasury operations.
Your impact:
- Leadership & Management: Lead the corporate accounting and treasury teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and mitigating financial risks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the corporate accounting and treasury functions.
- Treasury Management: Oversee cash management, investment strategies, and financial risk management, optimizing the company’s financial resources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments such as FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- 7+ years of corporate accounting experience

- Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or a publicly traded company, bringing valuable insights and expertise in best practices.
- CPA or equivalent certification, demonstrating a high level of professional competence and commitment to the accounting profession.
- Proven track record of managing and implementing process improvements.

- Strong communication skills with experience presenting financial information to executive leadership.

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:
California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $156,400 - $195,500*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $149,600 - $187,000*. Other states may vary.
This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and equity grants.
