We’re looking for a collaborative, people-first individual who has an understanding of marketing rules in a healthcare context who will primarily help focus our outreach efforts on accurate, timely and legally compliant delivery to future members and to other relevant businesses, and who has a desire to expand their healthcare compliance expertise by contributing to our general compliance efforts through developing and testing compliance controls and policies and performing compliance reviews. 

About you:

You will thrive if you enjoy building strong cross-functional relationships with commercial, clinical, and business unit stakeholders to establish effective and repeatable processes that serve both Compliance and business objectives. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with the Compliance and Legal teams as well as other stakeholders such as Business-to-Business and Business-to-Member Marketing, develop a scalable and increasingly automated promotional review process for externally-facing promotional materials, with a goal of
    • Reducing overall processing time,
    • Reducing SME time to review, and
    • Reducing the number of revision cycles for submitted assets; 
  • Working with the Director of Compliance and Privacy, develop operational processes for the investigation of member outreach complaints and audit of outreach processes, with the goal of identifying opportunities for scalable / preventive controls on member outreach systems, and develop standardized reporting;
  • Working with the Vice President of Compliance and the Legal team, developing and managing marketing compliance training;
  • Working with the Compliance team as a whole to
    • Onboard, develop, and optimize tools and processes to manage team workload,
    • Perform periodic risk assessments of regulated functions and operations in the organization, and
    • Contribute to improvements in the eight elements of Omada’s compliance program, such as managing relevant policies and procedures, creating and deploying education, and developing summaries of assessments for Omada’s governance bodies. 

What you need for this role:

  • 5-8+ years of related, applicable experience in promotional review compliance, and/or experience in legal organizations related to marketing compliance in a healthcare context;
    • Previous experience may include a mixture of legal operations or healthcare compliance;
    • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device company’s promotional review process is a plus, but not required. 
  • Substantive knowledge of regulatory matters related to healthcare and marketing, and experience with enacting controls and processes based on regulatory requirements.  
  • The ability to work autonomously through planning and executing significant projects from design to report-out.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, balancing compliance/legal and business considerations effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where collaboration is key.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action, focusing on impact.

  • Experience with compliance program elements (such as those described by HHS/OIG) in areas such as policy and procedure development and management, risk assessment, and training and communications.

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $142,600 - $178,300*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $136,400 - $170,500*. Other states may vary.

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and stock options.
