Senior Program Manager, Health Coaching

Job overview:

The Senior Program Manager, Health Coaching reports to the VP, Operational Excellence and serves as the business operations dyad partner to the Senior Director of Health Coaching & Practice. The Senior Program Manager leads Health Coaching’s strategy and business planning and data driven continuous-improvement efforts. They translate priorities into actionable operating plans, data-driven decisions, and measurable improvements in coach and member outcomes, operating performance, and cost to serve.

The Senior Program Manager proactively partners with stakeholders across Health Coaching, Care Delivery, Clinical, and the broader company to advance business priorities and improve new and existing programs. They bring structure to complex business challenges by using data, performance metrics, and disciplined problem-solving to identify opportunities, clarify tradeoffs, inform decisions, and move cross-functional initiatives forward.

Because this person will influence colleagues within Health Coaching, Care Delivery, and across Omada, they will demonstrate strong leadership skills, operate effectively through ambiguity, and be highly collaborative and organized. 

Your Impact:

  • Management of strategic roadmap
    • Document and manage business priorities, project governance plans, project schedules, success criteria and project milestones
    • Develop solutions, identify owners, set delivery/completion dates and set up mechanisms to ensure programs are on track
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues that affect Omada’s Care Teams and/or member experience and may impair our ability to meet strategic, programmatic or product goals.
    • Actively build relationships across Omada teams to deliver on your roadmap.
    • Partner with Care Delivery program managers as well as partners in Clinical, Strategic Finance, Legal, HR, and Engineering/Product/Design to deliver on your roadmap.
    • Anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, balance business needs versus constraints, and provide escalation management as needed.
    • Drives programs end-to-end and execute continuous improvement and/or new workflow implementation strategy with minimal to no guidance 
    • Deeply understands broad business needs and prepares succinct recommendations for tradeoffs to balance business needs versus constraints 

  • Communication and change management initiatives
    • Facilitate decision making and alignment across a broad group of stakeholders.
    • Capacity to present well-reasoned and data-driven proposals in both verbal and written form.
    • Identify and communicate risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; develop and maintain goals, milestones and completion dates.
    • Drive ongoing program improvements based on feedback and performance measurements.
    • Utilize strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion.
    • Develops materials for Care Team training, knowledge bases, and SOPs independently  
    • Demonstrated ability to influence change both internally and externally independently
    • Sets the standard for authoring business cases and presentation slide decks
  • Data analysis
    • Analyze data to perform needs and task analysis, scope projects and evaluate existing processes to propose solutions, define areas of focus/opportunity supported by data.
    • Identify process and system improvement opportunities by baselining/monitoring existing metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to positively impact results.
    • Develops business insights with custom metrics/attributes without guidance
    • Builds business cases for new business metrics and implements them independently
    • Creates feedback loops and drives continuous improvement independently  

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of program management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

 

Bonus Points for:

  • MBA or Masters degree in a related field 
  • PMP or CSM certification
  • Healthcare-related certification or license (including health coaching, nutrition/dietetics, exercise science, physical therapy, or practice management)
  • Lean or Kaizen certification

Below is a summary of salary ranges, by geographic zone, for this role*. These ranges represent a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for the position in that zone at the time of posting. Please refer to this resource for detail on zone designations.  

Zone 1: $161,920 - $202,400

Zone 2: $154,880 - $193,600

Zone 3: $140,800 - $176,000

Please note that zones may be updated as market data changes but we will honor the range applicable to your zone (which is determined by your location) as of your application date.

*The actual offer, including the compensation package, will be within the posted range for the relevant zone and will be determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations such as internal equity.
