Senior Analyst, Tax State & Local

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst, Tax State & Local, to join our Tax Team. Reporting to the Tax Director for.
This corporate role will be based in our Stamford, CT office and requires regular in-office presence five days per week, to engage and collaborate in-person with the team and for meetings as required.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in State & local tax audits
- Respond to State & local Tax Notices
- Review State & local Tax returns prepared by outside CPA firms
- Work with outside CPA firms and interface with their compliance team
- Prepare internal tax reports & gather data from the operating units
- Analyze state & local tax data and prepare workpapers and spreadsheets to assist in analyzing alternative tax structures
- Prepare year -end tax schedules
- Prepare state apportionment workpapers
- Assist with EFT payments and tax credit certificates
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years State & local Tax experience
- Strong accounting skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
- Experience with Tax Software systems preferred
- Advertising/ Marketing Services experience a plus
US Pay Range
$90,000 — $115,000 USD
