SSC Program Leader, Finance & BPO
Position Summary
We are a leading global media organization, home to a diverse portfolio of world‑class agencies across creative, media, data, technology, and production. As Omnicom continues to evolve its operating model and streamline its enterprise‑wide finance and vendor ecosystem, we are investing in a dedicated Program Change Lead to ensure the successful adoption of large‑scale Finance, Shared Services, and BPO transformation initiatives across our network of agencies.
This role serves as a senior change leader responsible for driving organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and execution discipline for complex finance‑related vendor transitions, process redesigns, and operating model changes. The Program Change Lead will work closely with Finance leadership, HR, Legal, IT, agency leaders, and third‑party vendors to ensure changes are clearly understood, effectively communicated, and fully adopted across the enterprise.
This role is ideal for a director‑level change leader who thrives in fast‑moving, highly matrixed environments and brings deep experience leading enterprise transformation, finance operations change, and outsourcing‑related programs.
Essential Functions
Strategic Change Leadership
- Partner with Finance executives and senior leadership to assess the people, process, and technology impacts of major finance and vendor transformation initiatives
- Develop and execute multi‑year change strategies that support Finance BPO, shared services, automation, and operating model evolution while minimizing disruption
- Lead largescale, enterprise change programs impacting multiple agencies, geographies, and operating units
- Coordinate and align cross‑functional project teams to deliver an integrated, enterprise‑wide change and readiness strategy
- Provide change leadership for complex finance, operational, and technology initiatives, ensuring sustained adoption and achievement of business outcomes
Assessment, Planning & Solution Development
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, and project teams to assess, document, and manage cross‑initiative dependencies and workforce impacts
- Conduct detailed change impact analyses across finance processes, roles, and vendor models
- Co‑create mitigation strategies to address adoption risks, resistance points, and operational disruptions
- Identify emerging risks and readiness gaps that may impact go/no‑go decisions and execution timelines
Communications & Training
- Partner with corporate and agency communications teams to develop targeted messaging and communication strategies for finance and vendor‑related initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver training and enablement programs that accelerate adoption of new finance processes, systems, and delivery models
Change Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute comprehensive change management plans supporting Finance BPO transitions, vendor consolidations, shared services changes, and enterprise initiatives
- Define stakeholder engagement models, communication frameworks, and adoption strategies across multiple agencies and business units
Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Management
- Build and maintain strong alignment with Finance leadership, HR, Legal, IT, agency leaders, and external vendors
- Proactively identify and address risks related to workforce transition, regulatory considerations, and business continuity
- Develop and execute mitigation strategies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of high‑impact issues
Transition Monitoring, Reporting & Escalation
- Monitor and report on change readiness, adoption progress, risks, and issues, ensuring leadership visibility
- Track and communicate operational and financial impacts tied to finance and vendor transformation initiatives
- Maintain dashboards and reporting to support informed executive decision‑making
- Escalate risks and blockers to program sponsors and vendor leadership as appropriate
Education, Skills & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred
- 7–10+ years of experience leading change management, enterprise transformation, or large‑scale program initiatives, with at least 3–5 years’ operating in a senior or Director‑level capacity
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise‑wide change initiatives related to Finance transformation, shared services, outsourcing/BPO, or vendor consolidation
- Strong understanding of finance operational models, including back‑office functions, shared services environments, and vendor‑delivered services
- Proven experience partnering closely with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Procurement, and agency leadership to manage complex organizational change
- Hands‑on experience supporting workforce transformation initiatives, including role transitions, process changes, and cross‑border impacts
- Experience working in highly matrixed, global organizations, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and communicate operational, financial, and risk data related to transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to assess organizational readiness, identify adoption risks, and design mitigation strategies
- Strong command of structured change management methodologies and stakeholder engagement best practices
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex changes into clear, actionable messaging for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in fast‑paced, evolving environments
- High level of comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and enterprise‑level dependencies
- Experience working with external vendors, consultants, or service providers, including coordination across delivery teams
- Advanced proficiency in program reporting, dashboards, and executive‑level status communication

US Pay Range
$180,000.00 — $200,000.00USD
