Ad Ops Executive - OMD EMEA (Kings Cross, London)
We are looking to hire an entry-level executive into our Advertising Operations team. You'll support the team as we design ways to use Ad Operations buying solutions to solve client or agency business challenges.
What is Ad Ops?
Ad operations, or "ad ops," involves managing and executing digital advertising campaigns. This includes setting up ad servers with detailed media plans, assigning ads to specific placements, and installing tracking pixels to measure performance. Ad ops professionals ensure ads are correctly set up and tested before going live, and they continuously monitor and optimise campaigns to improve results. They work closely with clients, creative teams, and technical teams to deliver effective ads that meet campaign objectives, requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Role Overview:
- Launch and manage digital campaigns across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
- Handle client needs for tracking, measuring, and tagging digital ads (Display, Video/VOD, etc.).
Key Tasks:
- Set up media plans in the ad server to track and achieve campaign goals.
- Assign ads to the right places and set rules for how they appear (e.g., location, time).
- Install tracking pixels to measure ad performance.
- Test and ensure ads are correctly set up before sharing with websites.
Team Collaboration:
- Work with the team to respond to client briefs.
- Translate media briefs into effective plans.
- Build relationships with client service teams.
- Contribute ideas and suggest new approaches.
