CDP Engineer
About the Role:
Role Summary
As a CDP Engineer at Annalect, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients unlock the full value of their customer data. This role exists to architect, activate, and optimise Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions, ensuring these initiatives drive tangible outcomes across marketing, media, and customer engagement strategies. You’ll bring technical rigour and consultative thinking to complex challenges, translating business needs into scalable CDP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on CDP expertise and technical consultancy to clients across a wide range of sectors
- Design and deliver tailored CDP activation strategies aligned with client goals and use cases
- Configure, test, and optimise CDP platforms to support robust audience segmentation, data integration, and real-time activation
- Lead the technical implementation of new CDP deployments and enhance existing configurations to maximise performance and value
- Partner with internal data, media, and analytics teams to connect CDP solutions to broader marketing ecosystems
- Support stakeholder education and upskilling around CDP capabilities and best practices
- Ensure the successful, end-to-end delivery of CDP projects with clear documentation and strong client communication
Additionally, individual objectives are agreed and reviewed on a quarterly basis (as a minimum frequency).
Ideal Candidate
Experience & Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex CDP solutions end-to-end
- Hands-on expertise with one or more major CDP platforms (e.g. Adobe Real-Time CDP, Salesforce CDP, BlueConic, Tealium, Segment)
- Familiarity with data integration concepts, identity resolution, customer journey orchestration, and audience segmentation
- Experience working in or alongside marketing, CRM, or media teams preferred
- Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating across cross-functional teams
Skills
- Hands on experience with TreasureData CDP, this is integral to the position
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills
- Effective project management abilities, with a focus on timelines, scope and quality
- Technically proficient in configuring data pipelines, events, attributes, and custom audiences within CDP tools
- Experience with platforms like Snowflake, Google Cloud, or Adobe Experience Platform is a plus
- Understanding of privacy, consent, and data governance in the context of customer data

The EMEA team is responsible for global and regional client relationships led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities. They form part of our global team and collaborate closely with local market Annalect teams across EMEA as well as regional Omnicom agency partners.
Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working. Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
