About the Role:

Reporting to: Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our finance operations, working closely with our two Senior Project Accountants. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, and supporting teams across the business. From managing invoices and reconciliations to assisting with audits and client billing, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and eager to develop within a finance role. You should be detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks while keeping a close eye on deadlines. A problem-solving mindset, confidence in taking initiative, and strong communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with teams across the business.

You’ll support the finance team with a variety of day-to-day tasks work, include, but are not limited to:

  • Support with managing the WIP list, posting adjustments, and improving ledger accuracy
  • Raising and managing project and overhead purchase orders (POs), processing invoices through to payment
  • Setting up and managing supplier and client accounts, handling queries as they arise
  • Raising client invoices and managing credit control, including working with teams to resolve aged debt issues
  • Assisting with preparing balance sheet reviews and making necessary adjustments
  • Chasing timesheet completion and running weekly reports for analysis
  • Managing company credit card reconciliations, claim submissions, and card reconciliation.
  • Supporting new staff inductions by demonstrating the timesheet, expenses, and PO system
  • Assisting client teams with budgets, financial administration, and supplier setup
  • Helping client teams with new system setups
  • Providing on-site financial support when required
  • Assisting with internal and external MediaOcean issues
  • Supporting audit preparations at year-end and pulling together necessary documentation
  • Ensuring the smooth running of receivables and payables, including market billing

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A BA degree in Accounting or experience in a similar role is preferable but not necessary
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel at a beginner or intermediate level
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude, working well with teams across the business
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
  • Experience with MediaOcean (DDS, Aura, PostBox, and Flexibill) is desirable but not essential

Flexible Working

For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
