About the Role:

Reporting to: Account Director

Fuse is looking for an Account Manager who can thrive in a successful and fast-paced agency environment. The role will work across UK-based football partnerships for a key Fuse client. Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Project and account management responsibilities, acting as a key point of contact for the clients and for four rights holders
  • Taking a lead role on partnership activation and constant management of the asset usage tracker
  • Working with partner agencies and rights holders to manage campaign creative and create social and digital content to amplify the partnerships
  • Management of the asset approval process, liaising with rights holders, agencies and clients to ensure all assets are compliant with guidelines
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the talent ambassadors and their agents, to ensure contract deliverables are adhered to and that talent are being used effectively to amplify the partnerships
  • Managing the update and supply of match day assets to all partners, working closely with Fuse Design Team and third-party suppliers
  • Supporting the data and insights team in the collation of regular client reports and ensuring reports are delivered to deadline
  • Line management responsibilities, setting clear objectives and supporting the development of more junior members of the team
  • Being proactive in looking for new revenue opportunities within existing or potential new clients

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working across sponsorships and partnerships in a project/ account management capacity
  • Strong understanding of the partnership landscape
  • Highly organised, able to multitask and proactively manage workload to consistently deliver high-quality work to tight timescales
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to own projects from start to finish
  • A proven problem solver, able to challenge clients and rightsholders and show strategic thinking when working on a brief or workstream
  • A strong understanding and comfortable in managing financial processes with strong numeracy and analytical skills and the ability to manage budgets across projects and workstreams
  • Strong reporting capability on campaigns and activations
  • Experience in managing mid-to-senior level clients and internal stakeholders and building strong relationships with them to show you can be a trusted partner
  • Presentation skills (both written and delivery), internally and to clients
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Able to anticipate clients’ needs before they do and keen to go the extra mile

You need to have the ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK travel, on-site at events and some weekend work.

This is a full-time role & you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
