Product Consultant, Sports & Entertainment Innovation

About the Role:

Reporting to: Global CEO

We are looking for a senior consultant from the sports and entertainment sector with a proven track record in data, technology, and commerce. You will help shape and launch a new generation of market-leading products.

This role puts you at the forefront of modern marketing and media. You will be part of building solutions that change the way brands activate in sport and entertainment, from planning right through to measurable sales impact.

The successful candidate will lead a high-profile programme to develop and integrate future-facing tools aligned with our new global proposition. You will work closely with our specialist teams, Omnicom’s global network, and our partners at leading platforms such as Google and TikTok.

Our mission is to give brands the tools to plan smarter, activate faster, optimise continuously, and sell more creating a new standard for how sport and entertainment drive measurable business growth.

Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Analyse the future landscape of sports & entertainment in a commercial and marketing context
  • Audit client needs 
  • Gain a deep understanding of Fuse capabilities
  • Get under the skin of Omnicom’s broader tech, tools, and agency capabilities
  • Evaluate Omnicom partner offerings, including joint ventures with major digital platforms
  • Identify new products and services 
  • Build business cases and investment plans for new propositions
  • Define talent and collaboration strategies across internal and partner teams
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market plan, including client targeting, commercial modelling, pipeline building, and marketing/PR activation

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in sports and entertainment, with experience in data, technology, and commerce
  • Proven ability to design and deliver innovative products and services in a marketing or media environment
  • Commercial acumen and a track record of delivering innovative products or services
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and partnerships
  • Skilled at analysing market trends and identifying growth opportunities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans

Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
