
Manager, Affiliates
About the Role:
The role sits within the Western Europe Markets (WEM) Philips Performance Media team and involves working closely with our 17 markets across the region to enable the next phase of business and digital transformation for Philips. You will work with and report into the Performance Director, and work in collaboration to the wider performance team to ensure the client business objectives are met.
The WEM Affiliates Manager is responsible for leading our Affiliates programme across the region for Personal Health for Philips. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Affiliates strategies and execution, planning and delivering strategies across branding, performance media and ecommerce, and delivering on Philip’s business priorities. You will define the ways of working for WEM Affiliates, partnering with both the client to deliver their objectives, as well as the wider performance team to drive a holistic approach to performance media. You will also line manage Executives/Senior Executives, therefore you will be responsible for their learning and development, and leading the overall channel processes and QA.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, a problem-solver, with a proven background in affiliate marketing to deliver best service for Philips.

About You:
- Demonstrable experience managing affiliates marketing
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of media agency ecosystem
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven background in affiliate marketing
- Activation and planning expertise
- You will have experience in Partnerize, or other affiliate marketing platforms
- You will need to have a understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
- You will have a good understanding of KPI selection within affiliate marketing
- You will have experience training and managing people
- You will have experience activating affiliate marketing and therefore an understanding of best practice across partner selection, programme setup, QA, reporting, insight generation and finance
- You will own the media plan for affiliate marketing - challenging the client/client team where required and managing the team to deliver strategic excellence, effective testing and operationally viable output
- You will ensure your team are engaged and delivering the highest possible quality of work.
- You will also have good relationships with key partners and be up to date on their latest products.
- You will be able to work with other digital teams and feel comfortable discussing how affiliates and lead generation fits into the overall marketing mix.
- You will be able to put forward recommendations and forecasts outside of CPA/CPL and showcase to the client how this activity contributes to their KPIs.

Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
