About the Role:

As a Media Planning Senior Executive, you will help to design and implement effective media strategies to achieve clients' marketing objectives. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, analysing audience behaviour, selecting appropriate media channels and ensuring seamless and effective delivery of media campaigns.

You will regularly liaise with clients and work collaboratively with specialist teams and other divisions within the wider agency group including various investment teams, finance teams, creative agencies, PR agencies etc.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for marketing, who thrives in a customer-facing environment, has a data-driven mindset and a knack for creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and account teams to understand marketing objectives and target audience profiles
  • Support the team in developing integrated media plans that align with campaign goals, leveraging both traditional and digital media platforms
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify audience insights, media consumption trends and competitive analysis
  • Identify media platforms (e.g., TV, radio, print, digital, social media) to optimise message delivery
  • Evaluate the performance of various media channels based on cost-effectiveness, reach and engagement potential.
  • Prepare detailed reports for clients, highlighting insights and recommendations for future campaigns
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients on media plans and campaigns, fostering strong relationships to better understand their business goals, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns
  • Ensure seamless activation of media campaigns across full suite of media channels
  • Ensure finance process is followed to ensure timely and accurate billing of our clients for campaign activity

About You:

  • You have a good understanding of media planning, buying and executing campaigns.
  • You are familiar with media planning tools and software to analyse and interpret post-campaign results.
  • You demonstrate problem-solving skills to address issues and make data-driven recommendations.
  • You are able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
  • You stay informed about emerging technologies, including AI and are open to exploring how automation and AI tools can enhance creativity, performance and efficiency in media.
  • You are comfortable building relationships and interacting with clients to provide updates, address concerns and manage expectations.

Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
