
Medical Lead Consultant (3-6 month contract)
MEDICAL LEAD CONSULTANT (M/W/D) - 3-6 month contract
Reports to: Managing Director
As Interim Medical Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for upholding the medical and scientific excellence of our agency. In this temporary leadership role, you will guide a team of Medical Consultants and Medical Writers, ensuring the smooth continuity of all ongoing client projects.
Your core mandate is to maintain the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all medical content. Working closely with your team, you will oversee the translation of complex scientific information into clear, well-structured communication aligned with established strategic frameworks.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused primarily on the continuation of current business and client support.
Education / Qualification / Experience:
- Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or natural science
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the medical or scientific field, ideally within a healthcare agency
- Experience in Oncology is required
- Proven experience in creating and reviewing medical-scientific content
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare communication
- Experience in team leadership and coordination
- Excellent presentation skills in German and English
- Native-level German, fluent English
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of the existing medical team & freelancers during the interim period
- Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of all medical content
- Professional oversight of ongoing client projects in close collaboration with consulting and creative teams
- Quality assurance of medical materials according to regulatory standards
- Support in the timely execution of all medical tasks in day-to-day business
- Primary contact for medical-scientific questions during project execution
- Structured onboarding and handover at the beginning and end of the interim period
