Title: VP, Account Supervisor

Department/Discipline: Account Services

Overview: The VP, Account Supervisor (VP, AS) is responsible for driving strategy across all marketing segments on multiple brands. He or She will build and maintain effective client relationships and oversee talent development across the team. The VP, AS will attain financial goals through organic growth and new business opportunities and will meet all metrics associated with this role. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead brand strategy and maintain strong client satisfaction on assigned brand(s) 
  • Provide strategic direction and approvals at significant steps of the creative process 
  • Provide strategic perspective on tactical POA recommendations and pieces prior to client submission 
  • Direct and interact with all agency brand team members to ensure accurate information exchange and smooth flow of product work 
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses on the account and make recommendations for change 
  • Ensure account is staffed appropriately to meet client needs 
  • Oversee account finances, including forecast and income generation 
  • Identify and participate in agency new business initiatives; meet all organic growth targets 
  • Motivate account group team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction 
  • Mentor, coach and develop direct report(s) by creating individual development plans, providing on the job learning and ensuring attendance at relevant SSCGU courses 
  • Ensure performance appraisals are completed for entire team 
  • Participate in all management courses offered by SSCGU, as assigned 
  • Support and/or lead team or agency initiatives as assigned 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of medical marketing or agency experience 
  • Previous experience managing 2 or 3 direct reports and multiple levels 
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary brand teams 
  • Solid strategic thinking skills 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills 
  • Able to collaborate across a multi-disciplinary brand team 
  • Superior presentation skills 
  • Experience working on digital projects or accounts with strong digital focus 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. 

  • $97,500 - $156,500
