Title: 2026 Bold Beginners - Copywriting Intern
Location: NYC/NJ Hybrid

Overview:
The Copy Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shadow and contribute to initiatives through engaging, meaningful work assignments. You will have a hands-on learning experience that will help develop a strong foundation in healthcare advertising.Copy Interns will use a broad range of language and creativity, to help create pieces for our clients. You will be hands-on in the idea-generating phase for all projects, such as campaigns or booth conventions, while also writing manuscripts for the smaller projects on a lower scale. You'll know the data as well as the best ways to convey it, applying your extensive knowledge of writing to really bring to life the messages we want HCP's and Patients to know. Most importantly, you'll be very relied on amongst your teammates to perform to the best of your ability and to generate life-changing work.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Show off your conceptualization skills with a copywriter.
- Apply your creative thinking within a strategy framework.
- Dive into the process of telling a story while gaining exposure to typography, retouching, and engraving.
- Put your working knowledge of computer software to the test – ie, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Become a comp connoisseur by developing a rough comp, tight comp, and know the difference between comps, mechanicals, and proofs.
- Spend time reviewing advertising annuals (Commercial Arts/One Show/Addy/Art Director’s Club).
- Learn to refine your thoughts and ideas to be reachable for the appropriate platforms.
- Create manuscrips based on client needs.
- Review and route through your pieces to confirm all copy content is correct.
- Annotate your pieces to reflect that the claims you are maaking are factual with evidence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 0+ years
- Area of Expertise: Related Field
- Portfolio of work (school/spec work is acceptable) demostrating creative ability
- Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, & recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Competencies:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills required
- Possesses solid presentatioin skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
